Your Questions, Answered

  • Somatic breathwork is a body-based practice that uses intentional breathing patterns to regulate the nervous system, release stored stress, and reconnect you with your body. Unlike traditional breath exercises, this work goes beyond relaxation—it helps shift how your body processes stress and emotions.

  • Meditation often focuses on calming the mind. Somatic breathwork works directly with the body and nervous system.

If you’ve ever struggled to “quiet your mind,” this is why—your body may still be in a stress response. Breathwork helps regulate that first, making it easier to feel grounded and present.

  • This work is especially helpful if you:

    • feel constantly stressed or overwhelmed

    • have trouble shutting your mind off

    • feel disconnected from your body

    • work in high-pressure environments

    • are doing mindset work but still feel stuck

  • This approach is grounded in nervous system regulation, not just relaxation or peak experiences. The focus isn’t to escape stress for a moment—it’s to help your body learn how to function differently under it.

    What makes this work different:

    • Built from real-world experience
This work is shaped by time spent in high-stress environments, where staying regulated isn’t optional—it’s necessary.

    • Body-first, not mind-first
Instead of trying to think your way out of stress, we work directly with the body—where stress is actually held.

    • Practical, not just philosophical
You’ll learn tools you can use in everyday life—not just during a session.

    • Focused on regulation, not just release
While emotional release can happen, the goal is building long-term stability, awareness, and control.

    • Guided and intentional
Every session has structure and purpose—you’re not left guessing or navigating it alone.

  • Each session is guided and intentional.

You’ll be led through a specific breathing pattern while being supported the entire time. Depending on your body and what you’re carrying, you may experience:

    • deep relaxation

    • emotional release

    • physical sensations (tingling, warmth, movement)

    • mental clarity

Every session is different—but the goal is always the same: helping your body shift out of stress and into regulation.

  • Working with me is grounded, direct, and intentional.

This isn’t about putting on a persona or creating a performance. It’s about creating a space where you can actually slow down, feel what’s going on in your body, and begin to shift it.

I’ll guide you through the process—but I’ll also meet you where you’re at.

You won’t be pushed past your capacity, and you won’t be left to figure things out on your own.

    What you can expect:

    • A structured, guided experience
You’ll always know what’s happening and why. There’s a clear flow to every session.

    • A grounded, no-fluff approach
This work is real, practical, and focused on what actually helps—not just what sounds good.

    • Support without pressure
You’re in control of your experience. We work with your body, not against it.

    • Space to feel—without judgment
Whether it’s stress, tension, or emotion, everything is approached with awareness and respect.

    • Tools you can take with you
This isn’t just about the session—you’ll leave with something you can use in your daily life.

  • Yes—for most people, somatic breathwork is safe and highly beneficial.

That said, if you have certain medical conditions (such as cardiovascular issues, severe asthma, or are pregnant), we’ll go over modifications or determine if this work is appropriate for you before starting.

    • Wear comfortable clothing

    • Avoid heavy meals right before

    • Find a quiet space where you won’t be interrupted

That’s it. Everything else is guided.

  • Not at all.

Most people I work with are completely new to breathwork. Everything is guided step-by-step, and your only job is to show up and follow the process.

  • No—this is not therapy.

Somatic breathwork is a complementary practice focused on nervous system regulation and body awareness. While it can be deeply therapeutic, it does not replace licensed mental health care.

  • Some people feel a shift after just one session.

However, like any form of training, consistency creates deeper and longer-lasting change. Many clients choose to continue sessions to build regulation, resilience, and awareness over time.

  • Yes—this is exactly what this work is designed for.

By working directly with your nervous system, breathwork helps reduce chronic stress, improve emotional regulation, and create a greater sense of control and calm in your day-to-day life.

  • Start with a free discovery call.

We’ll talk about where you’re at, what you’re dealing with, and whether this work is a good fit for you.

From there, you can book your first session and begin the process.

  • That’s more common than you think.

Many approaches focus on changing your thoughts—but if your body is still in a stress response, it’s hard to feel different.

This work focuses on the body first—where stress is actually held.
